Skype Expanding Through Partnerships

Skype is trying to expand its service to build more corporate conduits through its partnership with Anaya at the same time it is partnering with Facebook to create an easy interface between Facebook login and Skype functionality (using Facebook connect).  This move follows Google’s integration of voice calling into its Gmail product.  Google and Facebook are starting to battle over “time on platform.”   The Facebook-Skype linkup will be built into the Skype 5.0 release due soon.
