Last night MSU basketball put on a show vs. UCONN and the game was so exciting I didn’t Twitter much of the first half. I finally pulled out my iPhone and started paying attention to my MSU network on Twitter and Facebook – and I can tell you, the game was fun to watch via social media.
The comments about CBS announcers was great – the networks have been giving so much love to the other teams, it’s fun to bust on CBS. The play by play from people live at Ford Field, and watching from home. The enthusiasm was priceless. Some of my favorite tweets are here:

It will be fun to see on Monday how all the action is on #MSU and #finalfour and #spartyon hash tags. Social Media makes the game more fun. Now I don’t have to sit in a room with all my friends to watch the game. I can watch it at home with my family, and comment and talk smack with people around the country through Facebook and Twitter. Fun!

Very cool!
This was quite an experience for me and all of Spartan Nation – made even more memorable by the ability to share the experience in real time via Twitter.
