Klout Rolls Out New Services
Fri Aug, 2011 by Derek Mehraban
Klout is considered one of the industry leaders for measuring a Twitter user’s online presence. Last year, Klout added Facebook to its available service followed a few months ago by additions of LinkedIn, Foursquare and YouTube. Now Klout is offering its metrics for more: Last.fm, Blogger, Flickr, Instagram, and Tumblr. Klout plans to soon offer a Google+ service as well.
This will help the digital agency because Klout now offers a more comprehensive view of online influence. Its Twitter measurements are very helpful for measuring when the digital agency has helped a client or not, but its blindspot has always been a significant irritation. Now the digital agency has a clean metric to offer its clients, as well as a way to measure improvements to minor tinkerings within a campaign.
