Coming to Ann Arbor, Michigan Saturday, May 30 from 6 – 9 PM it’s the Hands on Local Tech event at the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum. The event will be a tour de force of local Ann Arbor companies with live music, activities for children and refreshments.
Hands on Local Tech is all about connecting local (Michigan) technology companies, their people, and their children. Finally a networking event where I can bring my kids!
These days it’s difficult to go network all the time. The family needs me. But this Hands on Local Tech event will have activities and food for the kids. Plus, it will show kids some new technology from local companies, and a chance to explore the amazing Ann Arbor Hands on Museum.
My kids love the Hands on Museum, and this event on Saturday, May 30 from 6-9 PM will be a highlight on our early summer calendar.
Thanks to Michael Cole of Bank of Ann Arbor and Ann Neuenschwander of the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum who asked me to help organize this event. Ingenex helped promote via social media. We created a Hands on Local Tech event page on Facebook, and put the event on various social networking sites such as Upcoming.org, Eventful and Craigslist.
Of course this A2 networking event falls on the first day of my summer class at MSU the New Media Drivers License. But I will be back in plenty of time to network with my friends, and have some fun w/ the wife and kids at the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum. Hope to see you there.
