Google TV is coming soon, Android phones are gaining in market share and are in first for new buyers, Chrome is gaining market share against Firefox and Internet Explorer. It is safe to say that Google is having a good run in their plans to expand their business model beyond search advertising.

Some new details have come out about what to expect on Google TV. It will be available on new Sony TVs and Blueray players and also on a set-top box made by Logitech. It will use the Android operating system and it will use the same model of open development for platforms and application development. It will support flash which will allow most web video to be available immediately. The most likely place for advertising to fit in will be through applications that can be watched used and viewed simultaneously with the television content the applications are designed for.
