Facebook is coming to Detroit on October 18. Will you be there?

Thu Oct, 2012 by

On October 18, Facebook Vice President of Global Marketing Solutions is coming to Detroit, Michigan for an Inforum Michigan event. We want you to be there. Why? This is the social media event of the fall, with Ford Motor Company’s very own head of social media, Scott Monty leading the conversation.

Ingenex Digital Marketing is a sponsor of the event, and we want to help our friends at Inforum get over 1,500 likes on their Facebook page. If you have a moment, please like their page right now.

If you are a social media pro you can get member pricing for this event. Simply use the code–SocialPro–when you buy your tickets at the Inforum Event Page and you save $20 per person.  As a social media professional, you can tweet about the event, share it on Facebook, and help us create some buzz.

And who wouldn’t want to buzz this event up a little bit? On October 18, you can get a look into the inner workings of the largest online social network – Facebook.

Did you know Facebook has an enormous reach? In fact, 77 percent of B-to-C companies have acquired new customers through Facebook. Facebook is a great place for business. In 2011, brand interaction increased by 176 percent. That’s not surprising considering the average Facebook user likes 80 pages and has 130 friends.

Don’t believe us? Well check out this new Facebook for Business Infographic created by Ingenex Digital Marketing or our client, and most valued friend, Inforum Michigan.

Carolyn Everson oversees the top 1,500 global brands on Facebook. On October 18, she will be sharing her expertise on how to make brands more interactive and meaningful. Scott Monty, head of global social media for Ford, will be moderating the conversation.

Will you join us for a conversation with Carolyn Everson and Scott Monty?

We need digital agencies and social media pros on board to make this event all it can be. This is a great opportunity to showcase your agency as a sponsor. You can get a logo and a link from the Inforum Facebook landing page. And if your agency wants to sponsor, the digital agency sponsorship is available for even more exposure and sponsorship bling from Inforum. See all the details in these PDF’s below. See you on October 18 and on Facebook.
