#DigitalChat: Building Brand Influence with Klout

That’s right, folks… it’s time for another tweet chat! Our first #DigitalChat on Pinterest for business went so well that we hosted a second on leveraging Twitter for event marketing, and then a third about viral video strategies. We look forward to making #DigitalChat a monthly institution, and we hope you’ll join us for another lively discussion!

Friday, Sept. 28, from 3-4pm EDT, follow @ingenex or the hashtag #DigitalChat to participate in an awesome chat on building brand influence with Klout.  The chat will be guided by a series of questions from @Ingenex and moderated by CEO Derek Mehraban (@mehraban) and our Content Producer, Erin K. O’Neill (@ekoneill). You can participate in a guided conversation by using the #DigitalChat hashtag in your tweets. Look for labeled questions from @ingenex, and respond by prefacing your tweet with the appropriate answer tag. For example:

  • Q5: What methods do you use to improve your @klout score? #DigitalChat
  • A5: I try to interact with my followers on @twitter as much as possible with replies and RTs. #DigitalChat

This way, participants will be able to easily follow conversations about questions that matter most to them. You can contribute to the conversation by tweeting your own questions, examples, or advice about utilizing and marketing viral video (and also follow others’ insights) by continually searching the #DigitalChat hashtag.

Klout was launched in 2008, but has only recently become a buzzworthy metric for measuring influence on social media. This month’s #DigitalChat will discuss how to harness and control the Klout metric, and how brands can utilize Klout to improve their own stature in social media.
