Google Street view has now mapped the world’s streets so Google is ramping up efforts to go indoors. The first incarnation is Google Art Project. As of now, Google has mapped 17 art museums in the same manner a neighborhood in Brooklyn is resolved to users.

Finding a way to use Google Art Project for digital marketing might be difficult, but this move indoors is a new direction with near limitless possibilities for Google and marketers. For years, real estate companies have shown panoramic images of places for sale or lease online. These have been effective ads and surely the minds at Google can make it better and easier to search.
